About Us

Bellflower Books

My business partner and I have been friends since we were three and always dreamed of owning a business together! We started our company, Bellflower Books, to help people create meaningful gifts that spread love and appreciation. We've worked really hard, but we've also had a lot of fun creating our website and watching our product make a difference in the lives of others.

Heather and I met when we were three and have been busy "working" together ever since!

In addition to being the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Bellflower Books I am also mom to a 6 year old son and a 3 year old daughter.  My life is extremely busy, and I have to admit that every once in a while I get completely wrapped up in some sort of pointless project and I lose site of what is really important and  truly makes me happy, spending quality time with my kids.

My adorable, fun and completely crazy children

I also love books, antiques, the beach, painting, gardening and all types of art.  I enjoy helping people and over committing myself to charity work:)  Most of all I love spending time with my family.  After living in Chicago for 10 years, I recently moved back to my home town.  My parents now live 2 miles away and we see them almost daily.  This may seem annoying for some, but I love it.  They are a huge part of the lives of my children and are helping them to be raised surrounded by love.

I created this blog to be a fun extension of the message behind our product and our personal missions to live an enjoyable and full-filling life.  I also thought it could be a good "creative outlet" for me and a fun way to share information.  As a small, organically run company, we know how hard it is to get recognition and PR when you are first starting out.  One of our hopes for this blog is to use it as a way to help showcase other entrepreneurs and people working hard to make a difference.

In addition to my posts, you will also be hearing from our wonderful interns,
Dionne Williams and Hayley Milne, from Bowling Green State University who will be serving as "guest contributors".
